CD Printing and CD Packaging

Album covers and CD covers often depict the culture of the times. Music has always been a sort of commentary or a voice of how the youth feel about the world and what's going on in it. CD printing and vinyl are no different. Here is a selection of some of the best covers ever!

When you think of rock or rock stars you can't help but imagine them tearing up hotel rooms throwing tvs out the window. Rock is a cut loose type of music which is based on raw emotion and energy. One of my favourite Album covers is the The Clash - London calling which can be seen below. Paul Simon Clash's base guitarist can be seen smashing his instrument in a fit of pure rage and passion on stage at the NYC Palladium. This cover certainly evokes a sense of Nostalgia when rock was purer.

One album cover that I'll never forget is Nirvana's Nevermind. It shows a baby in a pool swimming after a dollar bill. This is such an eye catching image you cannot help but notice it. Even now when I am looking thorugh the CDs at HMV my eye is still drawn to the rich blue colours of the pool. This was the cover of their debut album.
